Amazon Prime Day 2020 – Travel Deals

One of the greatest days of the year is almost here! That’s right, Amazon Prime Day 2020 is here! And even though this year is later than usual, there are still 2 full days of deals – October 13 & 14. And just like the past few years, I’m here to show you the best Amazon Prime Day travel deals. I’ll be updating this page with new deals as Prime Day continues, so come back to check out my new finds! Oh yea – Prime Members get early access to lots of deals! So get to it!

Amazon Prime Day’s Biggest Deals

As you’d expect, Amazon’s own products have some of their deepest discounts EVER. Are you looking for a way to cut the cord to your cable? Amazon’s Fire TV Recast is $100 off. Plus, there’s good news for my fellow travelers, who aren’t home as often as most people. Bring all the books you can dream of on your travels by using the Kindle with a built-in front light. And then listen to your favorite podcasts with Apple AirPods, which are $45 off.

Amazon Prime Day Travel Deals

For the Photographers

Looking to get some great aerial shots of your next trip? The Holy Stone GPS Drone with 1080p Camera was a Prime Day launch last year, but is even cheaper this year at $99. You can even save an additional $5 with a coupon!

Okay, I’ll admit – this one isn’t a Prime Day deal, but it’s an everyday deal that you need to know about. If you’ve been struggling to take photos with good lighting, you NEED to get this selfie ring light. No, it’s not just for selfies, it’s for all close up photos. This thing is amazing. You can clip it to a solid surface, change the intensity and tone of the light, and even clip your phone to one of the arms for steady photos. At around $13, it’s the best purchase I’ve made to help with close-up photos and videos! Make sure you click the button to save an extra 20%!

Everyday Photography Deals

You can never have too many memory cards in my opinion. I’d hate to be on a long trip and run out of room to store my photos! And the Sandisk memory cards are nearly half off. Here’s something I got myself to prep for my trip to Icelanda waterproof camera! I hate when I’m snorkeling or scuba diving and can’t get photos of the amazing sea creatures I see.

For the Phone Addicts

Is your phone always dying from taking photos and using so many apps? Bring along the necessities to make sure you keep it charged. When you’re in the car, both you and your travel buddy can stay charged with this dual-port car charger. Then, when you’re out and about, this power bank will keep your phone, tablet, or MacBook full of juice!

And while you’re always on the go, don’t forget to keep your phone safe. Luckily, this Otterbox case is a steal at around $20. ((You’ll save an extra 30% at checkout.)

For the Jet Setters

Always on the go? Of course you are! And you might need a bag to carry around all your stuff. This retro canvas messenger bag is the perfect way to carry around everything you need. I even ordered one for myself!

In the market for some new luggage? Samsonite luggage sets have CRAZY discounts today, meaning you can save hundreds of dollars.

While you’re running around, don’t forget to moisturize! Your skin gets particularly dry on airplanes, and this is often overlooked by naive travelers. Check out the Thrive facial moisturizer and mineral sunscreen bundle – the perfect skincare for your travels.

For the Outdoorsy

If you’re always out exploring this great big world, you’ll be happy to know that the LifeStraw water filter is nearly half off at only $9.89!

One of the favorite purchase hubby and I made this year was hammocks. They are the perfect way to spend the day relaxing and reading in the trees. Which is exactly what we did on our trip to Raquette Lake! Get yourself a parachute-style hammock with this Prime Day deal for just over $20.

And while you’re out adventuring and exploring, be confident that your stuff is staying safe and dry with this waterproof backpack.

Save up to 40% on camping gear!

For the Organized Travelers

Only other awesome thing that Amazon is doing for Prime Day this year is supporting small businesses. So check out what small businesses have to offer – including women-owned and black-owned creators!

You can also check out some of my previous lists to see if any of those items are on sale, too:
